Islam – the Green Horse Of the Book of Revelation

Introduction

Look around you and observe the events of the world unfolding in the news. If you look closely you will discern that there are four spirits or spiritual forces that are shaping the news besides that of Israel. These are the following:

          1. The activities of the Roman Catholic Church: social, political & spiritual
          2. The activities of Communism and Socialism: social, political, economic
          3. The activities of Capitalism: World Trade. Stock market gains & collapses
          4. The activities of Radical Islam: its goal of world dominion with killings

These four dominant spirits come into play in the world stage today. Almost 1900 years before, Jesus foretold to the Apostle John what these four spirits will do to mankind.

I will put most of the ideas from other craftsmen of God to explain the four horsemen of the Apocalypse so that people will know that these are established theological ideas and not new. I only add ideas to complete it.

Year A.D.90  Apostle John wrote:
Revelation 6:1  And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
Revelation 6:2  And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
Revelation 6:3  And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
Revelation 6:4  And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
Revelation 6:5  And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
Revelation 6:6  And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
Revelation 6:7  And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
Revelation 6:8  And I looked, and behold a pale5515 horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

About 580 B.C . the Prophet Zechariah wrote:
Zechariah 6:1  And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out3318, 702, 4818 from between4480, 996 two8147 mountains;2022 and the mountains2022 were mountains2022 of brass.5178
Zechariah 6:2  In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;
Zechariah 6:3  And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grizzled1261 and bay554 horses.
Zechariah 6:4  Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?
Zechariah 6:5  And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits7307 of the heavens, which go forth3318 from standing4480, 3320 before5921 the Lord113 of all3605 the earth.776
Zechariah 6:6  The black horses which are therein go forth3318 into413 the north6828 country;776 and the white3836 go forth3318 after413, 310 them; and the grizzled1261 go forth3318 toward413 the south8486 country.776
Zechariah 6:7  And the bay554 went forth,3318 and sought1245 to go1980 that they might walk to and fro1980 through the earth:776 and he said,559 Get you hence,1980 walk to and fro1980 through the earth.776 So they walked to and fro1980 through the earth.776
Zechariah 6:8  Then cried he upon me, and spoke unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north6828 country776 have quieted5117 (853) my spirit7307 in the north6828 country.776

Chapter 1
Zechariah explained what these four spirits are

The four chariots are explained in verse 5 by the angel of the Lord (to Zechariah) to be the four spirits from the heavens.

Zechariah 6:5  And the angel answered and said unto me,
These are the four spirits7307 of the heavens, which go forth3318
   from standing4480, 3320 before5921 the Lord113 of all3605 the earth.776

These are the four dominant spirits pervading and controlling the world affairs of men in succession during the whole duration of the Church age

We are in this Church age and at the very end of it.

These spirits went forth after they have taken their stand by the Lord of the whole earth. They first presented themselves to YHVH in His heavenly throne.

They appeared before YHVH in the attitude of servants, to lay their complete account before Him, and to receive commands of restraint from Him (התיצּב על, as in Job 1:6; Job 2:1).

Satan and his cohorts (the sons of God – fallen angels) are spirit beings. All spirits that run contrary to the will of God and His righteousness must report to YHVH at His throne when they are about to unleash their malevolent work on earth – against the true worship of YHVH -  against His chosen people and elect ones.

Likewise, these four spirits must report their plans and activities (at His throne) before they unleash their deception, their determination to apostatize men, to allow corruption, greed and injustice to flourish and to shed blood on earth without mercy within their allocated duration of dominion.

This shows us that YHVH is in control of everything that happens on earth.
Job 1:6  Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
Job 2:1  Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

Chapter 2

the
White Horse

Revelation 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

Dominance timeline: Conquering and to conquer 538 A.D. – 1798 A.D.
“The White Horse:  Catholicism fits the description of the white horse rider perfectly in Revelations 6:2. It is Roman Catholic custom that the Pope dresses in white; his helicopter is white; his jet-plane is white and his pope mobile is white. White is used as a symbol of peace. The predominant message of Roman Catholicism is the message of peace. The Vatican has become a diplomatic peace center for the world. When peace is being negotiated between rulers of our world, the Pope and other high officials of the Roman Catholic Church are often consulted. The verse states that "a crown was given to the one sitting on the white horse." History teaches that the pope originally had no crown. But, today the pope’s crown is a tiara consisting of three crowns. The verse also states that the rider of the white horse went forth conquering and to conquer. Although Catholism at present has no standing army… this has not always been the case… the first Crusades were initiated by Pope Urban II and the Crusaders under the blessing of the pope fought on for many years. When the majority of the people of a nation becomes Catholic that nation is referred to as a Catholic nation. Conquering and to conquer is the spirit of the white horse.” – PRAY4ZION.ORG
WHITE is the color of the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. The pope's garment, pope-mobile and aircraft are all white. Students of Catholicism actually refer to him as the "White Pope," in contrast to the Superior General of the Jesuits, who is referred to as the "Black Pope." – KEN RAGGIO

The medieval reign of the Papacy is readily traced to the rule of Emperor Justinian. In 533, Justinian had to decide, once and for all, whether the bishop of Rome or the bishop of Constantinople was the supreme bishop. The bishop of Rome thought he was the authentic pope since his roots could be traced back to the apostle Peter. The bishop of Constantinople claimed primacy because of Constantine’s transference of the Roman Empire’s seat from Rome to Constantinople in the fourth century. Justinian decided that the bishop of Rome should be acknowledged as the supreme bishop of the church. The reigning bishop of Rome, John II, received the title of Pontifex Maximus (supreme pontiff); however, it was not until 538 that the pope could exercise the power bestowed by this title. In that year, the Ostrogoths were expelled from Rome, leaving the way open for the Papacy to exert the temporal power invested in the pope by his assumption of the title of Pontifex Maximus. By this time, Virgilius was the reigning pope. It is significant that Virgilius, who spent a good deal of his reign in exile, was the first pope who was not canonized by the church. The worldly power that he assumed in behalf of all subsequent popes, led to a sharp reduction in the number of later popes who have been canonized.
The title Pontifex Maximus had been bestowed upon Caesar Augustus (the Caesar at the time of the birth of Christ) by the senate in Rome, in appreciation for his strong and peaceful leadership of the pagan Roman Empire. More than 500 years later, this title was transferred to the pope of papal Rome; thus began the temporal as well as the ecclesiastical rulership of the Papacy. The period of 1260 years of papal domination of Europe is foretold in Scripture. This 1260-year period is dated from 538, when the pope exercised his newly found authority after the expulsion of the Ostrogoths.
To a major extent, after the fall of the Papacy in 1798, there was less papal persecution because the church no longer had the power of the state to enforce its heartless edicts. The Word of God clearly states that the restored Papacy will again become a powerful persecuting agent. (http://www.sundaylaw.net/books/other/standish/antichrist/aih05.htm).
